Bila ada team, cuba seboleh – bolehnya ada sesi 1:1 with team members.
Tak payah tunggu perfect pun baru nak mula. Mula aje along the way akan improve. Sesi 1:1 ni fokus kepada team kita bukannya fokus kepada kita as a leader.
Time ni lah kita boleh tahu team perlu apa.

1. Reflect on how things are going.
Tanya team kita macam mana so far okay tak kerja. Anything yang perlu diselesaikan ke? Ada ke goals dia yang dah berubah? Apa yang dia dah belajar dan apa dia nak belajar?
2. Discuss top priorities
Sembang apa yang jadi priorities team kita tu sekarang. Apa roadblocks yang dia hadap dan macam mana kita boleh tolong dia?
3. Calibrate what “great” looks like
Kita ni sync tak goals and expectations dengan team kita? Time ni lah boleh betulkan balik direction tengok balik awat tak jalan macam sepatutnya. Kita bukannya bomoh boleh teka apa dalam kepala otak masing – masing. Talk.
4. Share feedbacks
Apa feedbacks yang kita boleh bagi to our team and apa dia boleh bagi feedbacks to us as the manager? Time ni lah nak tahu kita termiss something ke. Ingat macam okay tapi rupanya hauk. Eh! Ask.

1. Identify
Part ni kita nak tahu apa yang penting to our team.
Soalan:
“What’s top of mind for you right now?”
“What priorities are you thinking about this week?”
“What’s the best use of our time today?”
2. Understand
Part ni kita nak tahu root of the problem dan apa boleh buat untuk setelkan Soalan:
“What does your ideal outcome look like?”
“What’s hard for you in getting to that outcome?”
“What do you really care about?”
“What’s the worst – case scenario you’re worried about?”
3. Support
Part ni kita nak tahu macam mana kita nak tolong our team.
Soalan:
“How can I help you?”
“What can I do to make you more successful?”
“What was the most useful part of our conversation today?”
These ideas dan apa soalan nak tanya ni pandai pandai lah adjust accordingly.
For me, sesi 1:1 ni sangat helpful untuk address any issues, discuss personal goals nak grow pergi mana and any help needed. Growth is not an easy journey. Let’s grow together.
